The School-Based Technology Specialist is Mike Royal. He is a teacher with over twenty years of classroom experience, a CompTIA A+ certified computer repairman, and has been the SHS School-Based Technology Specialist for the last 11 years. His primary responsibility is training teachers to use technology resources to their full potential through individual training and after school in-services. He also assists with class projects using technology and trains students when needed. In between training sessions he assists the Technician with repairs to keep our computers up and running, manages the school network, assists with school security cameras, handles the school inventory, and sponsors the Student Technology Leadership Program. |
